Workshops

These workshops aren’t about strategies, tips, or tidy takeaways. They are shared spaces for confronting the open-ended, unfinished realities of being human—where we explore what it means to live with longing, disappointment, contradiction, and the nagging sense that something’s always missing.

Unlike other approaches, the focus isn’t on erasing confusion or uncertainty but entering into it more honestly. We look at how our desire structures our experience—and how the things we chase often reveal what we’re really trying to make sense of.

So while these workshops won't provide final answers, they aim to help you feel a little less alone, and a little more at home in the strange, unfinished work of being human.

What to Expect

  • Thought-provoking themes and emotionally honest questions—designed to unsettle assumptions, not impose solutions

  • Practical tools, reflective exercises, and gentle prompts—not performance or productivity hacks

  • A small, supportive group environment (usually 6–12 people)—not an audience; dialogue over displays

  • Human connection with others who carry the similar questions (with the option to listen more than speak)

Format

  • Delivered in‑person at Central‑Auckland venues

  • Session length: 90 minutes or 3-hour half-day, depending on the topic

  • Small groups: capped between 6 and 16 attendees to preserve depth and intimacy

  • Includes: worksheets + takeaway prompts for personal reflection

  • Why You Don’t Need to Fix Yourself

Why This? Why Now?

We’re constantly pushed to define, fix, and improve ourselves. These workshops offer another way: to slow down, ask better questions, and let your contradictions speak. It’s not about being a different kind of person—it’s about listening to what’s already there.
